CLIDE Awards Program

2009 CLIDE Awards Eligibility

The following eligibility requirements apply to the 2009 Awards cycle:

  • Only online submissions will be accepted;
  • Submissions will be accepted from both public and private sector applicants;
  • Joint or team applications are encouraged (where applicable). All major project participants should be identified and will be recognized;
  • Competing applications for the same project or activity will not be accepted;
  • Submitted projects or activities must be in the North Central Texas region;
  • Submitted projects or activities must exemplify or promote one or more of the 10 Principles of Development Excellence and must promote the mission of the Center of Development Excellence;
  • For an entry in the New Development, Redevelopment, or Special Development categories, the project must, at minimum, be under construction by the submission deadline of March 13, 2009;
  • For an entry in the Public Policy and Planning category, the program/policy/plan must be adopted by the local government by the submission deadline of March 13, 2009;
  • For an entry in the Raising Public Awareness category, the program/campaign/publication must have been aired/published/distributed by the submission deadline of March 13, 2009.
